Take note of these upcoming events! All students are expected to participate Madison's Annual Tournament, plus at least two other events. These events are your opportunity to meet your "extended family" of Hwa Rang Do brothers and sisters. At the seminars, you will learn (or brush up on) various techniques directly from Chief Master Lee, the eldest son of Do Joo Nim. This is a rare occasion and should be taken advantage of. At the Tournaments, you will test your skills by competing in forms (empty hand and weapons), breaking and sparring. As news becomes available, it will be posted here. |

| September 19, 2006 | Announcement of Hwa Rang Do Seminar with Chief Master Taejoon Lee, hosted by Master Kijek in Madison Wisconsin. If you have participated in his seminars before, you know how informative they are. If not, you are in for a treat. Taejoon Lee, 7th degree Hwa Rang Do Black sash and oldest son of Dr. Joo Bang Lee, Supreme Grand Master, will spend October 7 & 8 (Sat & Sun) in Madison offering students some 7 sessions of the most comprehensive system in the world - Hwa Rang Do. Includes a class for kids, defense against cloth grabs, takedowns & lockout submission, stick fighting, and more. |
